Photography Hike - 23.Feb.2025
Join us for a day of hiking and photography in the Sunshine Coast Hinterlands.
About: The area of Kondalilla National Park was created by volcanoes and carved out by water over roughly 28 million years. Today, the park protects remnants of subtropical rainforest and open eucalypt forest that was once widespread across the Blackall Range. Kondalilla means ‘rushing waters’ in the local Aboriginal language – and you’ll understand why as you hear the cascading of 90m Kondalilla Falls, the star attraction of this natural paradise.
Purpose: Get outside and enjoy nature with a hike while also taking photographs of the scenery.
What to Expect: We will be hiking the Kondalilla Falls loop (4km total). During the hike, attendees will be taking photos. We will finish the loop to swim and lounge at the Kondalilla pools. 3 hours total including hike and rock pools hangout.
What to Bring: Camera or smartphone, water, sunscreen, swim attire, towel, snacks
What’s Included: Good vibes :)
When: Sunday, 23.Feb.2025
Time: 9AM to 12PM
Where: Kondalilla National Park, QLD
Disclaimer: Official meet-up location and further details of gathering will be sent out upon booking confirmation.
